Light Fastness Standards. Blue wool fabric (pack of 8 graded 1-8) to meet ISO/SDC/BS standards. Dimensions each piece 240mm (9 1/2”) x 150mm (6”). Light Fastness Standards. Blue wool fabric to AATCC Standards. Specify L2, 3, 4, 5, 6 or 8.

Fluorescence Suppressor. A matched pair of plastic pieces,

one clear and one treated to overcome optical interference from fluorescent brightening agents when assessing colour difference.

Standard Depth Scales. As the fastness of dyeing depends on the depth of colour it is necessary to specify standard depths when making comparisons. Dye manufacturers pattern cards refer to these depths in fastness ratings for their products. SDC standard depths are illustrated in a range of 6 steps each from 2/1 to 1/25 depth over a range of 18 hues plus 2 navies and 2 blacks.
